Why HHL

5 agencies. 5 systems. 5 invoices. One solution.

HHL consolidates your entire workflow into a single dashboard so you can stop tracking payments and start focused care.

Choose visits close to home

See available visits from your phone and choose opportunities that fit your preferred areas, schedule, and driving routine.

Clinical mentors and therapist network

Work with a broader HHL therapist network, with clinical mentors available when you need guidance or a second set of eyes.

Provider support when you need it

Get help with app questions, technical issues, coordination, and workflow support so you are not figuring everything out alone.

Work as part of a team

Home health can feel isolated. HHL gives you regional team support, communication, and shared expectations around patient care.

Flexible weekdays and weekends

Choose weekday, weekend, or mixed availability so home health can fit around your job, family, school schedule, or income goals.

Vacation coverage support

Planning time off? HHL can help coordinate coverage so you can step away without carrying every patient worry with you.

Lifestyle fit

Better pay. Better balance. Better boundaries.

Pick up visits that support your income goals without giving up control of your schedule, your routes, or the time you need outside work.

Make extra income feel realistic

Use the calculator to see what a few visits a week could add to your month before you decide how much you want to take on.

Add visits on your terms

Choose weekday, weekend, or mixed availability so home health can fit around the routines and responsibilities you already have.

Stay closer to your own life

Focus on preferred areas near home, work, school, or family so your visit day does not turn into a long-distance driving day.

"I joined HHL after being recommended by another OT, and it has been a great experience. Communication has been one of the biggest positives. The staff check in regularly, are easy to reach by text, and work collaboratively with me if anything comes up. Compared to other companies, I feel supported and genuinely cared for, not just like another number."
Christian, Physical Therapist
"I picked HHL because I wanted a flexible schedule. I have left and returned a few times because HHL is friendly, supportive, and respectful, and I receive a steady number of referrals. I am contacted personally for most of my referrals with no pressure to accept, and the pay per visit is competitive. I would recommend that SLPs consider working with this company."
Mitch, Speech Therapist
"Compared with other home health companies, Home Health Links has been very reliable in my experience. As an independent contractor, it can be hard to get steady referrals, but with HHL I have felt supported with patient opportunities. I also appreciate the communication with the case managers. They are responsive, and it makes the work easier."

Do I have to leave my current job to work with HHL?

No. Many therapists start with part-time, weekend, or extra weekday visits around an existing clinic, school, hospital, or family schedule.

How do I control my availability and caseload?

You enter your availability in the HHL system and can update it when your schedule changes. Patients are not assigned automatically; you review each referral and choose whether to accept or decline.

How do I know what I could earn?

Use the earnings preview to test different weekly visit goals by discipline and region. Exact rates are reviewed during onboarding and depend on visit type, experience, credentials, and coverage needs.

Where can I get my physical exam and TB test results?

Do I need prior home health experience?

Prior home health experience is preferred, but it is not required. HHL values strong clinical skills and provides orientation support to help therapists understand home health expectations, workflow, and documentation.

Do I need OASIS experience?

Having a handle on OASIS makes a huge difference for SOC, ROC, and Discharge visits. HHL is happy to chat about your current comfort level and any training you might need. We also offer Roger AI when applicable, a helpful tool designed to make completing your OASIS documentation faster and easier.

Is shadowing available before I start seeing patients?

Yes. Optional shadowing can be discussed during your virtual orientation. Your account manager can pair you with an experienced clinician in your area so you can observe real patient visits and get familiar with the workflow.

What documentation timing should I expect?

Visit notes are expected within 24-48 hours, and weekly documentation should be signed and locked on time for billing. HHL support can help with workflow, technical issues, and documentation questions.

Can I work weekends only or mix weekdays and weekends?

Yes. You can share weekday, weekend, or mixed availability so HHL can understand the schedule you are trying to build.

What happens when I need time off?

If you are planning vacation or need coverage support, HHL can help coordinate around your schedule so time off does not become another source of stress.

How do invoices and payments work?

Therapists submit invoices through the HHL website by the 3rd and 18th of each month. HHL helps keep visit records and payment tracking organized, with timely direct deposits and less back-and-forth across multiple agencies.

What equipment or technology do I need?

Ready to hit the field? At HHL, we want you to have the best tools for the job. We require all therapists to use their own devices, preferably a tablet with a data plan to stay connected on the go. Adding a Bluetooth keyboard and a battery pack can further simplify your documentation. We will cover the rest during onboarding, including Chrome setup, offline signature tips for Android, and shortcuts that make completing your visits a breeze.
